An elegant and sophisticated event venue where memories are made.

THE CHALLENGE

Elite Event Venue was a brand new event space in Fresno, CA. Their venues were previously occupied by another event company. Elite needed to present a different tone and message in order to not create a comparison, but instill a newfound reputation that was all their own in the community.

MY APPROACH

I met with the management team and had some very extensive conversations, going through questions that pushed them and helped define exactly what they were looking for. The elegant typeface and organic leaf element set the tone and set them apart from their predecessor. Fun pastel colors were brought in to compliment the subtle green in the logo and to bring some festive elements. The leaf icon is very distinct and can eventually be used by itself.



Because their budget was minimal, and they would be doing most of the promotions themselves in the beginning, their style guide included many way to use, and not use, the logo.
